Florence Dawdry - Florence wrote a fantastic piece of creative writing that showed the emotions of an inanimate object. This diary entry was carefully thought about independently and Florence really impressed me. Well done!
Oliver Tomlinson has been awarded Learner of the Week this week due to his hard work and dedication in the writing lesson. We looked at diaries of different inanimate objects, analysing the thoughts and feelings of objects such as a paper clip! The class wrote their own and Oliver’s was really creative!
Evelyn Sandhu has been awarded learner of the week this week for her fantastic presentation in her maths work. It is particularly important to have clear presentation when calculating long multiplication and Evelyn did an excellent job!
This week our Learner of the Week is Alana Nicholls for her excellent attitude to learning and her 'Never Give Up' approach in maths. She has shown improved confidence this week and has had her hand up lots to give some super answers. Well done Alana.

Lexi Turner - Lexi has demonstrated amazing enthusiasm for her learning this week, whilst we've been getting into our Space unit. She has particularly excelled in her presentation when given free choice and independence to choose how work is set out. Her books look super! Well done Lexi.

Our learner of the week this week is Harrison Spark. Harrison has work very hard in maths this week. He persevered when he found something difficult and was able to complete the challenge.
Our learner of the week is Kurt Bassett. He has demonstrated great determination in his maths this week. We are working on multiplication, and he was not feeling confident - even though he solved the problems. He then progressed onto multiplying 3 digits by 1 digit - great work!

Harry Elcock - For Harry's persevering attitude towards Maths and working hard on being independent when solving subtraction questions. Well done!
Anya Hutchison is awarded Learner if the Week for showing amazing evaluator skills in her writing of a newspaper article describing the Moon landing in 1969. Anya was able to demonstrate her understanding of all the concepts taught and also edited her work effectively and independently.
Esme has been awarded learner of the week because she always gives 100% in every lesson. Her maths this week is just one of many examples where she has demonstrated her understanding and shown her improvements.
Ritvik showed great creativity in his imaginary creature. His drawing is very detailed and every part of the creature has been clearly described. Great work.

Charley Nicholson for being both a super independent learner and coaching partner this week, especially in Maths! She has never given up even if she has found something challenging at first.

Madi has been fantastic this week, specifically in English when retelling 'A Christmas Carol' with her group. She showed great teamwork when supporting others whilst they evaluated their writing as a whole piece to ensure it made sense. Super work Madi!
Samuel O'Brien is awarded Learner of the Week this week due his excellent writing - he used great vocabulary, varied sentence lengths and it flowed beautifully. It was such a pleasure to read. All his hard work and perseverance has paid off as his writing has really improved.
