Wednesday 12th December 2018 - Cross Country Qualifier, Knightwood Leisure Centre

Thanks to our well attended running club we were able to take 40 children to compete in this event. Our team was made up of girls and boys across the whole school which meant we had a good team presence in every event.

Each event saw the children complete a 1.5 km circuit of the field which became muddier as the races progressed! Our children did amazingly well to complete the distance at the fast pace that was set. We couldn't have been prouder!

Thanks again to all parents for your support in transporting the children and cheering them on.

A huge well done to the following children who have qualified to the next round; Abi, Evie, Charlie and Henry.

A special mention to Lily who came 3rd in the Year 3 girls' race.

Wednesday the 19th December 2018 - Basketball Tournament, Kings' School

On Wednesday we took our basketball team to a tournament at Kings' School where they got to play against other schools from the Winchester area. Games were fast paced and exciting to watch with our players giving it their all! I was so impressed by their team spirit and their ability to shoot a 10 ft hoop - amazing!

Unfortunately we didn't qualify for the next round but we came away with a couple of wins and we couldn't be prouder of the team - a huge well done to all players!

Also a big thank you to parents for their support with transport and cheering the team on and a massive thank you to Mr Pettit for his time in coaching our after school club.
