Why is UG sad and how can we help him?
UG's life is full of dull grey stones, even his trousers and bed are made of rock!
We are designing and making soft toys for UG to make him happy.
Being Scientists and examining rocks
We tested rocks to find out which would be best to use to build a house. We dropped water on them to test permeability, vinegar to see if they reacted to acid and scratched them to see how hard they were. We learnt about the different types of rock and how they are formed:
