In RE we have been learning about the Jewish harvest festival  of  Sukkot. During the festival it is traditional to build a sukkah. A sukkah is a temporary dwelling that is built especially for the festival. The sukkah is built to remember their ancestors and their journey to the promised land.

Using natural found materials and instructions on how to make a a sukkah the children went to the copse to create mini versions. They used Lego figures to decide the scale of their building.
