How do we draw people?

A key feature in Ancient Egyptian art and the work of Alaa Awad is the representation of people.  Today we were using mannequins to help us think about the correct proportions when drawing people.

Imitating

We looked at some of Alaa’s paintings and then tried to imitate his style, using a piece of one of his actual images for inspiration.
