Year 5 had a fantastic day as Egyptian archaeologists.  They spent the morning exploring an ancient tomb, solving a trail written in hieroglyphics, designing a death mask and playing Mehen, an ancient Egyptian game.

In the afternoon, they started making a canopic jar using clay, this will be completed later and then painted once it has been fired.
