As part of our World War Two topic, he children have been learning about rationing during the war. We looked at the Make Do and Mend campaign and attitudes of the time and how this links to today and sustainability. We were tasked with designing and making bags using a variety of sewing methods and using material that would otherwise have been thrown away.
