Music
As part of our music this half term we thought about the music of World War 2.
we discussed what people may have done for entertainment during the war and why music would have been so important. We then watched some swing and jazz music from the era - discussing the influence of America on the music of this time.
Next, we listen to and learnt about Dame Vera Lynn and analysed the lyrics in her music to think about the impact it would have on soldiers and people on the home front.
