Music
Anglo—Saxon Music
This halfterm the children will compose their own piece of music that represents a particular Anglo-Saxon god.
In today’s lesson the children were looking at the musical terms that relate to dynamics, in particular; forte, piano, crescendo and decrescendo. They then played a range of untuned percussion instruments and followed directions to change the dynamics of their music. Finally the children had a go at grouping different instruments. They thought about how they may be played, what sort of sound they made and what they were made of.
