We are starting the term being Innovators.  We are writing our own versions of the 'Blue Penguin' story.

We have edited our work and started our best copies.

We have been looking at the poem ‘The Jabberwocky’ by Lewis Carroll.  We liked the sound of the nonsense word and word really hard to unpick the meaning of the poem and what kind of words were used...Noun? Verb?  Adjective?

We enjoyed using dictionaries to look up the meaning of words in our reading text.

We have started to learn about how information texts are organised and also we have begun our research on penguins.

After research using film and text, we have lots of information for our information texts about penguins...
