Ancient Egyptians 

Our Ancient Egyptians topic will cover fascinating history, answering questions such as "Why did the Egyptians try to erase Tutankhamun's dad from history?" and "How on earth did Howard Carter discover the tomb when everybody else had given up?"

The children will discover and discuss what power means in ancient Egypt, and will consider how Egyptian society is very different from ours today.

The topic also links in to our English lessons, inspiring the work we do. We will read Secrets of the Sun King and join Lil as she learns more about the past and has her own adventure on the way.
