In today’s lesson, we learnt about how different species can have varying life spans. The children started by working in pairs and groups to try to match the animal to the life span. We were shocked that Mayflies only live for a day and that they carry out their whole life cycle in this shirt period! On the other hands, sea urchins can live for over 200 years!
