Saxons vs Vikings
The children took part in a workshop about the Viking and Anglo-Saxon struggle for the Kingdom of England, to the time of Edward the Confessor” 793 AD – 1066 AD.
Through drama the children immersed themselves in this period of history, fighting battles, and re-enacting important events.
In the morning the children worked in groups and each group focused on a key event from this period. In the afternoon all parts of the play were put together to tell the whole story.
