After completing our incredible class reader ‘Once’, we analysed, inferred meaning and discussed the World War 2 poem ‘The Companion’. We thought about how the narratives of ‘Once’ and ‘The Companion’ are similar and attempted to rewrite the poem using the events of ‘Once’ as the plot.
