Why did the Anglo-Saxons invade?
In our first History lesson the children recapped on their knowledge of the Roman invasion. They then looked at a range pictures to make inferences about why the Saxon invaded. They discussed and shared ideas in small groups.
They then looked at 10 possibilities for the Saxon invasion and place them under the headings; unlikely to be a reason, likely to be a reason, definitely not a reason and I don’t know. I’ll need to research this.
