Building a circuit
Today, the children learnt about the symbols used for components of an electrical circuit. They had a go at drawing a circuit and labelling the key symbols.
After this, the children were given the components to build a circuit: a lightbulb, wires and a battery. The children had to work together in their groups to build the circuit and try to get the lightbulb to light up!
If it didn’t work, they had to try and de-bug the circuit to discover which part was faulty.
