This afternoon, the children made predictions about what they thought would happen if they added more than 1 battery to a circuit, and what would happen if they added more than 1 lightbulb to a circuit. 

They then hen had a go at testing these questions.

Half of the class built electrical circuits and had a go at adding more lightbulbs, one at a time, to see what happens.

The other group used the iPads to build online circuits and test adding more than 1 battery.

Next week, the children will have a go at drawing the circuits they made and explaining what happened each time they added another lightbulb or another battery.
