Today, the children learnt all about food chains. We learnt some new key vocabulary: producer, consumer, prey, predator and apex predator. 
The children were given a variety of pictures of living things and had to create 3 food chains - land, sea and the artic. 
They had to think carefully about which way the arrows face, to show the transfer of energy between each living thing.
