We recalled all our learning about plants from Year 1 and Year 2.  We knew some arts of a plant and what plants need to grow.

We could draw and label a simple plant.

We added to our knowledge about parts of the plant and learnt about what each part of the plant does.

We learnt how water is transported in plants by putting some flowers in a pot of water and putting the others in a pot with water and blue food colouring.

For our observation over time experiment, we grew peas from seeds and made observations every week.  We changed the conditions for different seeds.

We researched plants that can grow in different places and how they need different things.  We tried to show this in our books.
