Chris Riddell
This half term our feature artist is Chris Riddell. The children have come across Chris Riddell in Y4 when they read Monster Slayer. Our text ‘Odd and the Frost Giants’ is illustrated by Chris Riddell, so is the summer read text and a picture book we will be looking at, yet to be revealed.
Chris Riddell is known for his creative, detailed drawings. One of the canvas’ he uses to draw on is the inserts of toilet roll, which is what we did today. Their Frost Giants look AMAZING!! We are so proud of the outcome. Well done Year 5!
