This half term we are using the famous sculptor and war artist Henry Moore as the inspiration for our artwork. We began by finding about the work of Henry Moore before applying pencil techniques learnt in our previous topic.
Moving on from our pencil work, we used Henry Moore’s resist techniques along with oil pastels to create atmospheric artwork depicting people using the underground as shelter during the Blitz.
We continued to work in the style of Henry Moore.
