Roman Day
What a brilliant day we had!
Thank you to all the parents/carers for the fabulous costumes - it was a chilly day to be a Roman but a great effort!
We had the chance to taste an interesting array of Roman food (very mixed views...), learn all about Roman numerals and design an information poster. In the afternoon, we worked really hard to create our amazing mosaic tiles and learn our Roman song.
MUSIC
In music we are learning about tempo, rhythm and dynamics as we explore and create our own Roman Marches. We have taken lots of words and phrases to do with our learning about the Romans and have layered and structured them into rhythm patterns to create a march.
