Is Australia all the same?
Each group was given one of Australia’s territories to research in terms of the geographical features. They were given different types of information presented in a variety of ways that they had to read and interpret to gain the information they needed. They had graphs, tables, maps, pictures and travel brochures as well as the iPad and computers!
Where is Australia?
We looked at Australia on a globe, in the atlas and then we virtually travelled to different parts of Australia by using Google Earth!
Topic Launch
Today we launched our new topic with a treasure hunt in the copse and clue solving in the classroom.
