Crazy creatures recount writing

We have been busily writing a recount about our visit from Ian, who came to school with some very interesting animal friends.  He told us all about them and you can see the pictures of the visit on our Science page.

We have started to write our narratives about Little Wolf’s quest.  What fantastic word choices!

Continuing our theme of Crazy Creatures, we have been concentrating on some “overlooked” mini beasts and thinking of adjectives to describe them. We sorted the adjectives into most and least relevant, using our “zone of relevance”...

Poor Granny and the villagers are very confused about wolves.  They think they dress in clothes and hide in wardrobes.  We are going to write an information text to help them out....
