This term we launched straight into story writing, sparked off by the book "Blast to the Past".
We listened to the first two chapters and practised mapping out and re-telling the story using adventurous adjectives, precise nouns and interesting verbs. By innovating this plan, we came up with our own ideas and re-wrote the chapters with a new setting and adventure.
Moving on...following our visit to Testwood Lakes we will be working in research teams to gather information about the Bronze Age. We will be learning about the skills needed to write a non-chronological report and will compile our own report about Life in the Bronze Age. We can't wait to share these with you at the Parent Outcome!
