Hot Seating Drama

We are reading "The Waterhorse" by Dick King Smith this term. We have been learning about the different characters and using the text to enable us to infer how each character in the story feels about certain situations. To help us explore those feelings, we used "Hot seating" - this is when one child takes on the role of one of the characters and the other members of the group ask questions to explore deeper how the character feels and what motivated their decisions and actions.
