Hiltingbury Lakes
Year 5 spent a wonderful day at the local lakes utilising what we have on our doorstep. The day was spent alongside the fantastic Sharon and Helen from Attention 2 Place who were offering unique activities linked the stories of the lakes and the beautiful surroundings. Back with the teachers, our school work came to life looking at the stream there and getting fully involved in the river channel. They looked at the river journey, width, depth, speed and surrounding area. A very hot but fantastic day of geography!
