Holocaust Day
In preparation for Holocaust Day we revisited The Terrible Things-a text we used in a Let’s Think lesson in the Autumn term. We compared it to a poem by Pastor Martin Niemoller.
Next we learnt about Holocaust Day and why we remember the events of the past and hopefully learn from them.
We looked at another poem from The Holocaust Memorial site.
We used this as a model to write poems about Hate and Love thinking about what those emotions mean to us.
