Spelling

Each week the children will be given 5 spellings to learn. They will then be tested on 3 of these spellings the next week. The words will be chosen to link with their learning. 

They will also, each week, be revising spelling rules from previous years these words will words on Spelling Shed. There will also be daily follow up activities in class. https://www.spellingshed.com/en-gb/ 

 

Maths

Maths homework will be set on Mathletics and will based on the weeks learning. https://www.mathletics.com/uk/ The children can continue to practice their tables using their Rock Star Times Tables accounts https://ttrockstars.com/

 

Reading

Encourage the children to read often. They have 3 library books that they should have bought home. Now they are in Year 6 they have access to all the books in the library. In school they have a banded reading book that they read in class.
