As a result of the parent mail sent out, homework has been set earlier than usual.  We also recommend regular practice of times tables on Rockstars and to use Mathletics to practice maths skills-this week look at fractions, decimals and percentages.

Spellings will be set on spelling Shed as listed below. All children will have spellings based on the spelling rules from the Year 5/6 spelling list in preparation for SATS.

Spellings Week 1

This week all the children have words from the Year 5/6 spelling list.

The children will not be tested on these words however we will be expecting to see them in their writing linked to Yellowstone Park.

The spellings are on Spelling Shed.

Words with the same rules and patterns as the words on the 5/6 spelling list are most likely to appear in the SATs
