Malala's Magic Pencil
With Year 3, Year 6 read the story of Malala's Magic Pencil. They then learnt about Malala and her work as an activist and how she grew up in a war torn country and still had the passion to fight for what she believed in.
The children then thought about the words in her book and imagined what they would wish for if they had a magic pencil.
They shared ideas and created a group poem which they then share with each other.
