Our Working Walls

We use our working walls every day to help us in our maths. They contain all the learning we have done on a topic so far so we can remind ourselves of strategies and hints when we are feeling stuck.

Teaching others improves our understanding!

Today we were asked to work out which word problem was the odd one out and then explain why we believed this. We had to work in groups and be prepared to explain our reasoning to the rest of the class. Each group had a whiteboard on which to plan their explanation. One group was then chosen to come to the front and explain while our teacher joined the class as a pupil!
