Maths
Our big focus this year so far has been on times tables and related division facts.
Recently, we have been working in coaching pairs and in groups to solve problems involving multiplication and division. We have introduced column multiplication and have been looking at the links between tables (e.g. 2s and 4s) as well as patterns to helps us solve tricky calculations. The maths confidence in Year 3 continues to grow as the children step out of their comfort zone and enjoy exploring maths from all sorts of angles!
