We have been listening to “In the Hall of the  Mountain King” from the Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Grieg.  We noticed how it got louder (crescendo) and faster (accelerando).

We wrote the repeated rhythm patterns out in a grid, using apple 🍎 and pear 🍐 for quavers and crotchets. We then had a go a writing our own rhythms using musical notation for crotchets and quavers in 4 metre.
