The whole year group gathered together in the hall to make a fabulous cacophony of sound this afternoon!
As we are already doing lots of Roman marching rhythms in our dance unit, we decided to enrich our rhythm work with some Bamboo Tamboo...
Bamboo Tamboo originates from Trinidad and Tobago where traditionally, large hollowed-out bamboo was banged on the floor and hit with sticks to create interweaving rhythms.
This afternoon we had a go at putting together rhythm patterns and it sounded brilliant!
