Outdoor classroom day
Thursday 4th November was outdoor classroom day. Year 5 spent the afternoon in the copse area making stick boats! They worked really hard in their groups and got to test their boats out on the pond, fortunately none of them sunk!
What are the signs of Autumn?
This afternoon, Year 5 went on a “hike” linked to one of the Hampshire Illustrated Book Awards books we have been studying. We took a piece of string and attached to it all the signs of Autumn we could find on our walk in the copse. This made a real life record of our trek which we took back to the classroom and made a pictorial record of.
