What is the meaning of Divine?
Today, the children explored the meaning of divine in a religious sense. They then heard some of the miracle stories from the bible about Jesus. They made freeze frames to reenact the stories, thinking hard how to show the godlike qualities of Jesus in their representations of the story.
The children then had a series of statements and were asked to rate them in terms of whether they agreed or not, with an explanation of their thoughts. These thoughts were discussed with the class, with children sharing their own opinions and listening to and respecting those of others.
