Residential at Winchester Science Centre
Year 5 had a wonderful evening at the Winchester Science Centre. They explored the whole centre, which they had all to themselves! Then it was into the cafe for hot chocolate and a biscuit. After that they had to decide where they were going to sleep - there were some interesting choices! Once the beds were made it was into the Planetarium for a film before bed. Eventually everyone settled down and got some sleep!!
It was an early start - once all the beds were tidied away it was time for breakfast - then more time to explore the centre. Finally we went back into the Planetarium to watch 'Astronaut' - a fascinating film about how people train to become astronauts - before boarding the coach back to school!
