By the end of the Key Stage…
· Pupils will be able to pose questions and carry out scientific enquiries drawing on their prior learning and experiences.
· Pupils have an understanding of different ways of working scientifically and be able to pose their own questions to develop a line of enquiry.
· Pupils will gain knowledge about Biology (Animals including humans), Physics ( Physical Processes) and Chemistry ( Materials and their properties) building on prior learning and making links between other areas of Science covered and the wider curriculum whilst being encouraged to see the sense of wonder in the scientific world around them.
· Pupils will be able to use science to make predictions and explain what they see drawing on their prior knowledge and their understanding of the real world with a sense of confidence to explain, explore and refine their own thinking.
