Week 1
Today, we had our topic reveal in which we completed a carousel of activities and had to decide how they all linked. We all very quickly discovered that our new topic is electricity! Next, we learned about mains and battery powered appliances.
Week 2
This week, we have been learning about how to keep ourselves safe when using electricity. First, we were electrical safety detectives and had to identify any electrical safety hazards that we found in a virtual house. Next, we created electrical safety posters for Year 3 to teach them about how to stay safe.
