We have been awarded the 'School Games PLATINUM Mark Award' for our commitment to and development of competition, school sport, physical education and physical activity. We have demonstrated the PLATINUM standard through increasing participation in physical activity by providing our children with opportunities to engage in Inter-house competitions, School Games competitions, developing links/pathways to sport providers in the local community and ensuring at least 2 hours of timetabled physical activity per week. Not to mention all the wonderful after school clubs on offer here at Merdon!
