Teeth investigation
Today, the children had a look at some animal skulls and their teeth. They thought about whether the animal might be a herbivore, omnivore or carnivore based in the type of teeth they had.
Then, the children set up an enquiry to test the effect of different drinks on teeth. We tested coca-cola, water, squash and vinegar in eggshells.
The children used enquiry sheets to plan their investigation.
