Week 1 - 6th Sept
This week we listened to the Merdon Story and learned how the houses at Merdon got the names Merdon, Tyrell, Rufus and Purkess.
We then thought about the New Forest (where the story happened) and wrote a poem about the things you might see under an Oak Tree. We thought carefully about the adjectives we chose and used then to create expanded noun phrases.
