What is justice?
This half term the theme for our RE learning is ‘justice’. We began by setting some of the children a Tower Building Challenge! However, not all the contestants were given the same materials to build their towers. One was given paper and sellotape, another was given spaghetti and marshmallows and another - a pack of cards. This demonstrated inequality and unfairness. We then were shown a variety of images and asked to discuss, annotate and link the images to try and create a common theme. After some rich discussion, we decided on the theme of justice. We attempted to define justice and then listened to the ‘Prodigal Son’ story from the Christian faith.
