Anti-Bullying Week At Merdon

 

The week beginning 11th November 2019, we raised awareness across the whole school on how to recognise and stop bullying. Bullying can happen to anyone, at any age and anywhere and it is really important that we all work together to Stand up to Bullying. 

We started the week with an assembly. See the link below if you would like to see it!

 

Each year group then had a special lesson to explore the issue further and all produced some work.

Year 3 made pledges of the small change they would make to make sure they were always being kind to those around them.

Year 4 designed posters about how we can ensure we can be kind to those around us.

Year 5 explored what they could do in different scenarios in order to prevent bullying from happening.

Year 6 made posters about stopping bullying.
