Who are the Greek gods and goddesses?
Year 5 researched the Greek gods and goddesses, learning what their qualities and specialities were, realising how they link to Greek mythology. The children creatively displayed their findings using ideas such as fortune tellers, book marks, games and top trump sets.
What was the battle of Marathon?
Through our English this week, the children learnt about where the event ‘The Marathon’ originated from and what happened at the battle, making it an historic event.
