Monday 7th December
Today we took our maths lesson outside.
The first challenge was to find something that was 10cm long and then another object that was 1 metre long, without any form of measurement! Then we had to gather objects in between those sizes and order them on the playground. Then we were given rulers and metre sticks to see how accurate our measurements were!
Finally we explored the playground measuring different objects using rulers, metre sticks and trundle wheels.
To support our learning about Area we went outside to take leaf rubbings of which we then had to work out the area
