Our working walls have been used by the children over the last few weeks with their learning. They have said how helpful they have been to support them in choosing the most efficient methods for calculations.
Mental strategies
This week we have started to look at efficiency in maths!
(Which means thinking about whether we should use a written or mental method to solve a problem.)
Our first mental strategy was using bridging to cross boundaries, supported by our tens frames!
