The whole school came together at the end of the day to celebrate Sing Up Day and show off their amazing talents. 

We started with a fabulous (and tear-jerking) performance from the choir, who sang "On Your Way Home" from the musical James and the Giant Peach - wonderful!  Closely followed by an enthusiastic and toe-tapping rendition of "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" from Year 6, who have been learning about the heart in Science. 

It was the turn of Year 5 next, who wowed us all with a powerful performance of "Eye of the Tiger" complete with actions!  Year 3 sang next - a song called "Like a Roman" to link with their topic.  We had some audience participation for this one!

Year 4 gave a marvellous performance of a song they have been learning in their African drumming Listen2Me workshops.  They sang in two parts as well as having a superb drum accompaniment!

The celebration ended with the whole school raising the roof with the Sing Up day Anthem for 2018 - "Be the Change".  What a showstopper!
