Wednesday 11th September - Boys' Football Tournament, Kings' School
On Wednesday some of our year 6 boys played in a football tournament at Kings' school. Games were 7 a-side and against schools from the Winchester and Eastleigh area. The boys played brilliantly, narrowly missing out on winning their group. Although they didn't make the final, we're proud to say that they came home with the 'Fair Play Award' for their attitude. This was awarded to them by the School Games organisers and the referees. Well done boys!
Thursday 19th September - Girls' Football Tournament, Toynbee School
On Thursday our year 5/6 girls took part in a football tournament at Toynbee. They played against 5 other schools in their group and did amazingly well. They defended brilliantly and didn't concede any goals throughout the whole tournament! Unfortunately, due to goal difference, they just missed out on a place in the final. So proud of you girls, well done!
